Uganda has been a partner of the regional RBC Project since its representation at the 6th RBC Conference in Hargeisa,Somaliland. Ever since, the processes of Civil Society mapping,formation of a national network; revision of a Ugandan RBC National Action plan and finally the election of a national RBC NFP have been successfully undertaken. Like most of the countries in the Horn and East Africa, Uganda has been has been plagued with resource related conflicts especially cross-border conflicts amongst the large Karamoja cluster. |
