The network has and continues to undertake thematic focused conflict mapping and analysis to generate information and bridge the RBC knowledge gap both for civil society programming as well as policy and lobby advocacy. The overall intention is to establish (where there are none) and to equip learning centres at national levels. Currently, a regional learning centre is being The national networks periodically develop thematic conflict maps illustrating sources of conflict, conflict-prone-spots, and gender dimensions of the conflicts; conflict management practices as well as stakeholder dynamics. In addition to the above, the national networks develop conflict management-specific policy and advocacy briefs for launching national campaigns on pertinent RBC issues. As a result, evidence of informed programming within the network members based on available knowledge on conflict issues is demonstrated. This is backed by the fact that the network has subscribed to Oxfam Novib’s Knowledge between and among Counterparts (KIC) portal that allows like-minded CSOs to share experiences and best practises on the management of their programmes and activities |
