The network seeks to build the capacity of its Network members in Conflict research and analysis; gender analysis; policy analysis and advocacy skills; media engagement and lobby skills; Campaign development skills and lastly content – focused training based on the priority themes identified by each national network within the RBC National Action Plans (NAPs). As a result training manuals of diverse skills for working in conflict areas in the Horn and East Africa have been produced in each country; pilot tested and It is our ambition that all national network members are equipped with the various skills based on their identified needs and competencies assessments. The network’s quest is to ensure that the national network members in all the nine countries can demonstrate a fair understanding and grasp of diverse skills for working and engaging directly in Conflict areas within their mandates. Trained network members as Trainer of Trainers (TOTs) are able to transfer the skills to the local communities through their daily programmes outside of the RBC Network Mandate |
