Position / Responsibilities

With KBC: radio producer for Somali Service, besides being News presenter / Translator. Over the years at KBC, I was able to produce and co-produce, over 20 different radio programmes.

As Accord-Somalia’s information and communication officer

• I was instrumental in ensuring that Accord Somalia projects have regular pages (for the firs time) in the Official Accord Website.
• I launched the Accord-Somalia firs Newsletter.
• I traveled widely across Somalia regions and played a major role, during the reseach on a gender and conflict conducted by Accord, successfully doing the transcription /translation of oral testimony by Somalis, interviewed in Somali language through the usage of audio-visual equipmentSenior Consultant-for Radio Programme for Northern Kenya on Animal Health program, sponsored by PACE (Pan African Control of Epizootic)
